No more than ever we as a community need to support and look out for each other. We are all in this together. As we do the highest standard of "duty of care " for the breast cancer survivor we as a organisation are suspending all knitting and kits going out due to the coroavirus until further notice. We will be taking online orders for prostheses from our stock that is package. "Cancer does not stop and we will not stop supporting Breast cancer survivors." Our volunteers have gone into isolation but myself and Sue will be attending to orders on different days. Go to Kniited Knockers Australia click on "online orders". Knitters and volunteers are our VIPs so we want you to stay safe and healthy. Branch meetings have stop but the leaders are going to support your orders. Due to the current situation, we implore that ALL knitters properly sanitise their hands and equipment prior to knitting, and prior to handling knitting needles, materials or packaging. Please do not knit the knitted knockers if you are feeling unwell. In addition, please ensure that any materials or knitting needles is kept away from pets.
